AIPVT 2012 - All India Pre Veterinary Test is a common entrance examination for admission into 1st year of B.V.Sc. & A.H. course for filling up 15% of total number of seats on Merit in each Veterinary College of India.
The entrance exam is conducted on the behalf of Veterinary Council of India (VCI) New Delhi. The duration of B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry) degree course is five years including six months of compulsory rotating Internship.
Students from Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to appear as Jammu and Kashmir has not adopted the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984.
